My name is Trevor and you can find me on most socials as Trevor603! I am the creator of Proxias Codex. You may have seen me around at a NA Ascent with a backwards hat and a Nintendo branded sweatshirt. I am from the U.S. in the small state of New Hampshire and the LGS I frequent the most is Webway Games, where the Lineage Break crew is from! Catch me playing some brew I’ve made at 10pm the night before a tournament.
My background in TCGs is pretty diverse. Most recently, outside of Grand Archive, I’ve played magic. Played in tournaments in games like Flesh and Blood, Force of Will, and Yugioh. I’ve also dabbled in games like Kaijudo/Duel Masters, Pokemon, Elestrals, and many, many, more. I’ve been playing since I was a kid and played Magic competitively between 2012 and 2020. The release window of Magic ended up being too much that I slowly lost interest in the game. I heard about Grand Archive thru a Facebook ad, but wasn’t until after the kickstarter campaign ended. I printed some decks for my friend and I to play. As soon as we played a game, I knew I was going to be hooked. Grand Archive combined mechanics of some of my favorite games. An LGS I played at the time was able to order some product of DoA Alter, and I haven’t looked back!
Speaking of LGS’s, I used to work at some! I have 10 years of TCG hobby retail experience ranging from being a sales associate just selling comics and cards to running 70+ person Magic prereleases and team events! Working at an LGS has been one of the most satisfying jobs I’ve held. It was a great way to connect with communities and grow the games you love! I can see the love Weebs gives LGS’s and how energetic their events are and I am very excited to see the future for the company, the community, and stores around the world!
